Transcend Information has announced that it has received notification from the US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin that SanDisk has withdrawn its patent infringement complaint filed on October 2007 against it.

SanDisk on October 24, 2007 filed three patent infringement actions against 25 companies that manufacture, sell and import USB flash drives, CompactFlash (CF) cards, multimedia cards (MMC), digital media players and/or other removable flash storage products in the US. Taiwan's major memory module makers and controller designers are among the defendants.
